The Waxing of the Harvest Moon
The moon, I suppose, is a governor of seasons. It waxes and wanes and controls the tides among other things. In the days before electricity, this full, low, large moon was so important to aid in giving a little extra light to those bringing in the harvest. It had a purpose at that time and that time would come when it was ready. It was predictable, but it never in a hurry. Those waiting for it might have been, but to one with understanding, just remembering that it would indeed come instilled patience and strength.
