A Beautiful Day
This piece was painted from a photo I took on a perfectly beautiful day. Children were out in the grass playing, and when children play they are rarely, if ever, rushed. We all soak in a beautiful day a little differently . . . noticing the light, sounds, or feeling the warmth. Lift your head and open your eyes to the beauty around you, even if it might be an overcast day. There's so much beauty up close and personal, not found on a screen. But it takes noticing and it takes a willingness to not rush past it.
